About This Experience

The afternoon alternative to every other trip on this list. Pickup is after lunch, the boat leaves Thong Krut in the early afternoon, and the day ends with the sun going down behind Koh Madsum rather than with a minibus back to the hotel at three.

The running order is the same two islands — the reef at Koh Tan first, then Pig Island — but the light and the crowds are entirely different. Most half-day boats have gone by the time this one arrives. Kayaks are included and used around Koh Madsum, weather and tide permitting.

Dinner is a full Thai set menu at T.K. Restaurant, back on the mainland, with a vegetarian option if you ask when booking. Soft drinks and water are included; alcohol is not.

Meeting Point

Hotel pickup runs between 13:00 and 14:30 and takes you to the T.K. Tour pier at Thong Krut Beach. Hotels and villas up in the hills are not served by the pickup — the operator confirms an alternative meeting point instead.
