Ko Samui: Pig Island Snorkeling and Koh Tan Speedboat Tour

About This Experience

A mid-size group trip that runs twice a day from the fishing harbour at Bang Kao, in the south of Koh Samui. The minibus collects the whole group in stages before the boat leaves, so the morning starts slowly — then the crossing to Koh Tan takes about twenty minutes in normal conditions.

Koh Tan’s reef is the first stop and the strongest part of the trip. The coral here is still largely intact, which is not true everywhere in the Gulf, and on a calm day the visibility rewards the effort. Snorkelling equipment is provided at no extra charge.

From Koh Tan it is a short hop to Koh Madsum, where the pigs come down to the water line. Kayaks are carried on the boat and included, lunch is served during the trip, and the whole thing runs about four and a half hours before the minibus takes you back.
